The Casadh Charter

In Casadh you have the right to:

  • Be spoken to in a respectful manner
  • To be free from any form of bullying- (verbal physical or media)
  • The use of our premises without being subjected to dealing or supply of drugs or contraband
  • The use of the premises without being subjected to other peoples drug affected behaviour
  • You have the right to challenge other people’s behaviour- in the appropriate manner and setting
  • Likewise-you can be challenged- again in the appropriate manner and setting
  • You have the right to be treated with respect and without prejudice of any type- racism, sexism, ageism or drug type
  • You have the right to an opinion and to have it heard in a non-judgmental fashion
  • You may join the union of your choice
  • You have the right to complain, and to have your complaints heard and responded to with 7 working days
  • Regular scheduled key-working and care planning
  • The right to your confidentiality and privacy
  • The right to use of the computer facilities with being subjected to unsuitable or traumatic material

This Charter applies to all who use our services- participants, staff visitors’ tutors, support staff and management
