Aimed at participants aiming to make a significant change in their recovery, the Stabilisation Programme supports those who actively wish to become drug free.

The Stabilisation programme helps users to break their links with illicit and high risk drugs and begin the pathway to becoming drug free. This incorporates and life skills programmes aimed at building many of the necessary life skills required to successfully reintegrate in to the community. One-to-one Key-working and care planning , Therapeutic groups, Holistics, Life skills training, Personal development work, Pre-employment and Return to Education training, are all offered to participants to support them in achieving this goal.

The Casadh Stabilisation group is group of like-minded individuals who are committed to moving to a drug free lifestyle. Participants of this group must commit to stopping harmful illicit and illegally prescribed drug use, with the stated intention of commencing a community or inpatient detoxification programme.

The overall aim of this programme is to introduce participants to strategies to engage in harm Reduction, to reduce illegal drug use, and to stabilise on prescribed medication only. Participants also take part in daily scheduled therapeutic vocational and formal education workshops. The stabilisation group is generally for one year in duration.
